  2. Aloha! Have you ever read any Louis L'Amour books? They are westerns and so that might discourage you, but try reading Sackett's Land!! I have a hunch that you'll like it:)

    1. Thanks for the recommendation, Cherry! I've enjoyed some westerns in the past, so I might have to check this out!

  3. Aloha! I was just wondering if you could recommend one of C.S. Lewis's books. Which one on Christianity would you recommend starting on? Is Mere Christianity good? Thanks Ella!

    1. Yeah, for sure! Mere Christianity is awesome - I've read it twice - and it's just a really good, solid explanation/defense of the core principles of Christianity - stuff that most Christians agree on. I would highly recommend it and in my opinion, it's the best place to start.

The Screwtape Letters by Lewis is also fantastic; it's a conversation between two demons on how to trap Christians and is a really profound look at sin from the inside. I've also read The Weight of Glory and The Great Divorce - which I reviewed on here (check the list over there -->). Those two books were really good, too. And The Chronicles of Narnia! That series is so good! So yeah, basically just read all the stuff Lewis wrote. :D He is probably my favorite author of all time.

I talk some more about Mere Christianity & The Screwtape Letters here: http://www.thisgirlwritesprose.com/2015/02/top-7-nonfiction-books.html
